FTTWH welcomes threads and posts from everyone. However, posts must be related to the Tennessee Walking Horse (TWH) breed and must follow Proboards terms of service, proboards.com/tos
The following details the rules for this page. FTTWH do not delete threads or comments unless they break the below rules. Please do everyone the courtesy of following the below rules to keep this page what it is intended to be: an educational page about the continued illegal practice of soring and how soring is achieved.
Rules
1. This page is for information about the Tennessee Walking Horse only. The posts, comments, and discussions must pertain to the issues of soring and the plight of the TWH. This includes shows and showing practices and training and training practices.
2. No advertising, either personal or business, is allowed.
3. This forum is not to be used for starting topics about abuse that exists in other breeds and disciplines. This includes racehorses, Rollkur, reining, Western Pleasure, scotch-bottom shoes, and the like. References to other breeds that are susceptible to abusive practices are acceptable, but entire discussions about another breed will be deleted.
4. It is okay to post information about people, horses, groups, or the like that pertains to the training and care of the TWH, positive or negative. However, the information must be backed up with facts (such as a website, video, article, or the like) if you are naming a specific person. Hearsay or “I saw so-and-so do this” is not acceptable.
5. This is NOT a forum to start topics about other equine related issues such as horse slaughter, wild horse capture, or horses used to carry drugs or other illegal items. Any topic started about this will be deleted. If a discussion within a topic turns to other issues, then as long as they do not become out of hand they will be allowed.
6. Questions are welcome and encouraged. Questions can be addressed to all members but must follow Proboard's terms of use and these rules included here.
7. Flaming, name calling, accusations, and any other unacceptable conduct toward other members on the page are not allowed. You will receive one warning. If you fail to heed the warning, you will be banned from the forum.
8. Because this forum is designed to help the TWH, information about TWHs or TWH crosses in dire need can be posted. “Dire need” means horses in the kill pen at auctions, horses that have been seized by rescues or animal organizations that need foster or permanent homes, neglect cases due to the owner passing or becoming ill, or any other such situation. Horses that are for sale on websites such as Horsetopia or Craig’s List are not considered horses in dire need.
